Getting a new phone is a great way to reset the clock on life and then use the photo gallery to remember events after some time has passed. About 1 year ago my phone died while on a trip. Somehow I managed to find my way back to the airport and home again, and a few days later I had a shiny new Android in my hands.
Spring is in bloom.
Off to Champaign, IL. Interesting drive through farm country. Live surgery and back home.
On the way to the airport I saw Frank Lloyd Wright's first Prairie Style house.
With nice weather it was time to fire up the grill and play with the dog.
Some new camera apps make for new forms of artistic expression.
I met up with family for my birthday.
Back to Illinois for some more medical education. Sometimes Chinese food in the hotel room is easier at the end of a long travel day.
Home again. A small DIY project, installing a new kitchen faucet required some creative plumbing connections.
Seeing 2001 in IMAX was incredible.
Yet another trip to Chicago for one of our annual conferences. Found some good restaurants nearby.
And then to Boston for, you guessed it, another conference. Late night drive home.
Fall is in the air, Winter is Coming
A quick trip to Florida to celebrate with the family, and some theme park fun, and the holidays.
Happy birthday to my dog.
Quick trip to NYC to meet with a client.
Spring again and annual trip to Miami. Great food, top notch AV and Mom's Matzoh ball soup.
See you this time next year.

I have a passion for my job, which entails training for medical professionals such as surgeons, nurses and administrators, not to mention various industries.
Technology is great, but how you apply your skills is what pays the bills.
Years ago I canceled my Media 100 support contract upon discovering what a treasure trove of helpful advice can be found on the Creative COW website. I am proud to be a part of this fantastic community.
In my blog I talk a little about media production, a lot about travel and workflow, and occasionally about cooking, nature and my four-legged friends.
