#MCS EP04: Collaborative workflow in Resolve 12

In Resolve 12, Blackmagic Design has gone pretty far to integrate a real interactive and collaborative workflow. It is now possible to share a timeline between an editor and a coloriste so that they can work together in two separate rooms to finish and grade a show quickly than ever.

In the 4th episode of My Canadian Studio, Mathieu Marano and Louis Fortin show you how to enable this collaborative workflow.

#MCS: AE PIXEL SORTER

Pixel sorting is a way of displaying pixels in rows and columns depending on their luminance value. Our Guest, Gabriel Grenier wrote a plugin called PIXEL SORTER to do pixel sorting in After Effects. Mathieu Marano goes through the different way of using this plugin with him in this 4th episode of My Canadian Studio.

#MCS: Stabilized rig by SHAPE

Shape WLB is a Canadian company that build amazingly strong and useable camera rigs. Their latest product is a mix between a classic camera support and a stabilized brushless gimbal. The ISEE+ RIG is a 2-axis stabilized rig aimed at extreme sports events. It can mount a mirrorless camera like a GH4 or an A7s and give you smooth shots for when you have to run after that snowboarder.

Eric St-Martin welcomed Nico Marchand, product consultants and Laurence Villeneuve, Shape development team to talk about the operation and fabrication of that piece of hardware.
